Akiba Academy Celebrates 50 Years of Achieving the Extraordinary

On February 1, 1962, Akiba Academy was founded in Dallas and that same year the first class was inaugurated. We may be 50 years young as an institution, but we are rich in history. Wonderful things have been happening at Akiba throughout our five decades and this year we look back on our history with great pride for who we have been as an institution and who we have become. From our humble beginnings, to the acclaimed institution we are today, Akiba Academy has enjoyed tremendous growth in its physical and intellectual development.

To mark the 50-year journey, the school will celebrate its golden anniversary throughout the 2012 -2013 school year. Various events will give Akiba Academy’s family and friends an opportunity to commemorate the school’s history, to celebrate its successes, and to plan for the future. Join us in celebrating our past and paying homage to the people and events past and present that have made Akiba the great institution it is today.
